In his early days, Nenes was already very interested in all sorts of music. His affection for playing music to an audience started in 2001, when he started playing at local clubs in his hometown Haarlem. When he moved to Amsterdam, he got very inspired by DJ Jean's Madhouse, every Friday night at the legendary club iT. One day, he met E-Craig during one of the Madhouse sessions and from then on, he also got more interested in producing dance music, besides being a dj.
JUST MOST RECENTLY, NENES IS DEVELOPING HIS OWN STYLE AS A DJ AND PRODUCER. BRINGING THIS STYLE TO THE CLUBS WORLDWIDE, HE CREATES AN ATMOSPHERE FULL OF ENERGY. AFTER HIS MOST RECENT HUGE CLUB HITS NAMELY 'TURBULENCE' AND 'POLESTAR', NENES ALSO HAS HIS OWN RADIO SHOW ON SEVERAL STATIONS WORLDWIDE AND HIS REMIX FOR GEORGE ACOSTA. NENES: ALWAYS READY TO LET YOU ENJOY HIS PERFORMANCE AND HIS MUSIC. KEEP AN EYE ON THIS GUY!
In 2003, he was invited by to be a resident in club iT and to play in The Powerzone in Amsterdam several times. In 2003, he also participated in a dj contest, organized by national radio station 3fm. Nenes made it to the finals.
In 2004, his first production, 'Turbulence', is released on RR, a division of the famous Spinnin' Records. In November 2004, Nenes did a remix for 'I was there', a record by Jesus Play, which is released on Addicted Music in Spain.
In 2005, a project of Nenes and upcoming producer Robert Burns, Raoul Neros - Impacto, will be released on Púlsar Records. It will be released at the end of 2005. Both mixes, the Original Mix and the Nenes' Tribe Tech Mix are produced by Nenes and Robert Burns. 'Impacto' has already got some fine reviews and is played by dj's like Blank & Jones, Ron v/d Beuken, E-Craig, Marcel Woods, Richard Tulip, Graham Gold, Joop, Abel Ramos, The Freak etc.
His newest project is another collaboration between him and Robert Burns. The record is released as Robert Burns - Polestar with an Original Mix (produced by Robert Burns and Nenes together) and a Nenes Deep Mix (produced by Nenes).
This record is released in july 2005 on Yakuza, a division of United Recordings.
The Nenes Deep mix is supported by dj's like Armin v. Buuren, Les Hemstock, Marcel Woods, Blank & Jones, Mark Sherry, Graham Gold, E-Craig, Mark Norman, Joop, Richard Tulip, Jon O'Bir, John O'Callaghan, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Ron v/d Beuken etc.
Nenes always has a smile on as he rocks the floors all over Europe and the rest of the globe, the crowds love 'em in Poland and even TranceElements.Com knows this guy has some quickly growing talent.
Meeting Nenes for the first time in July of 2005 when spending some time with Dj Joop (Sensation White After party with Armin Van Buuren, Rank 1, Mark Norman, etc) was a pleasure to say the least. Nenes has a good industry understanding and feels the floor breath. He spent a portion of time showing us some trance & house clubs in Amsterdam. Nenes keeps on top of the industry.
Nenes made sure you were entertained and that you always had a good time, when Nenes DJs he acts the same; do not expect to be sitting long once his session begins. (Warning) I could not take a break, with Joop and Nenes back to back at (Leeuwarden Holland - Club Noa) it will just end up being another night where you see the sun rise again. We enjoyed the performance and just kept jammin' all the way to "The OC" stateside. (Orange County California) Nenes, keep it up!
Next Nenes will be playing in Poznan Poland for one of the best known crowds in the industry (besides Holland of course). August 26, 2005 & August 27, 2005 - Do not, (no joke) miss this people! Warning - lots of smiling expected by Nenes! :0)~
